FRANKLIN CORPORATION LIMITED WARRANTY

LIFETIME WARRANTY
The seat foam, reclining mechanism, all other metal parts and the wooden frame parts in this furniture are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the lifetime of the mechanism or frame, as the case may be. “Lifetime” means the normal, useful life as determined by the manufacturer.

FIVE YEAR WARRANTY
Sleeper mattresses are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of five years from the date of sale to the original purchaser.

ONE YEAR WARRANTY
UPHOLSTERED FABRICS
Fabric and leather are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of sale. This warranty covers seam failure, fabric separation and nap loss. This warranty DOES NOT apply to pilling, fading, shrinking, dyelot variations, tears, scratching, fraying, stretching, wearing or flattening of nap. Chenilles, Velvets and Velvet types have an inherent soft texture and will crush, shade and mark easier than most fabrics and these characteristics are not considered a defect. Also excluded are damages and defects resulting from abuse, neglect, exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity, alterations, burns, cuts, scuffs, watermarks, indentions or pet damage. Natural markings such as scars, brands, grain variations, wrinkles, etc, will be considered normal characteristics and not construed as defects. No two leather hides are ever the same so color variations could occur. Where there is evidence of excessive soiling, improper cleaning, abuse or where the fabric/leather has had some form of chemical applied, the fabric /leather warranty will not apply. Franklin Corporation at its discretion may require proof of damage.
ELECTRONICS
All electrical components and reclining power motors are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of sale to the original purchaser. All lift chair motors have a 3-year warranty.
FURNITURE COMPONENTS
All other furniture components such as handles and legs are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and material for a period of one year from the date of sale to the original purchaser.

LIMITATIONS ON WARRANTY
The warranty contained herein shall be in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use. Liability for incidental or consequential damages under the warranty is excluded. Some states do not allow limitation of incidental or consequential damages; therefore this limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. The following additional limitations apply to all warranties contained herein:
1. Warranties extend to the original purchaser only and are not transferable.
2. Warranties do not apply to rental, business, commercial, institutional or other
non-residential use.
3. All warranties are subject to the availability of repair or replacement parts and
limited to a one time replacement. Shipping and handling costs are not
included.
4. Replacement cover dye lots vary from shipment to shipment and may not
exactly match the original.
5. Warranties do not apply to any condition caused by damage, improper use
or abuse occurring after the date of sale to the original purchaser. Such
damage, improper use or abuse will void all warranties.
6. Weight capacity should not exceed 275 lbs.

FRANKLIN’S OBLIGATION
Franklin’s obligation under its warranty is limited to repairing or replacing at Franklin’s discretion any part or parts of the chair covered by warranty that are found to be defective in workmanship or materials upon examination by Franklin or Franklin’s designated agent. Cost of packing and shipping the entire piece to and from the factory, if necessary, is not covered by this warranty. Any merchandise deemed not repairable by the manufacturer will be prorated through the dealer based on the original date of purchase.
